Data Journalism Training
We are pleased to invite participants to the Data Journalism Training – Basic Course Concepts of Data Journalism, a program created through a partnership between Insight Research Corner and CJ Platform. This training is open to journalists with at least one year of experience in news agencies and freelance journalists with a minimum of three years of experience who are actively engaged in news duties. We will accept 35 trainees for this course.
The course will be led by Dr. Lwin Lwin Wai, Managing Director of Insight Research Corner.
Dr. Lwin Lwin Wai is affiliated with various domestic and international research and academic institutions and collaborates with civil society organizations. Her research has focused on environmental governance and social justice. She earned her Master of Science degree in 1999 and her Ph.D. in Nuclear Technology in 2014, both from Yangon University of Technology. Additionally, she holds a diploma in Environmental Management and Green Technology from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. She has studied climate change science at The George Washington University in the United States and was honored with the Global Change Leader award by St. Francis Xavier University and Coady International Institute in Canada. Dr. Wai was also a prominent expert participant in the Spring Revolution.

**Training Schedule**
The training will take place from May 21st to May 23rd, daily from 9 PM to 12 PM (Bangkok Time).
**Training Location**
The sessions will be conducted online via Zoom.
